This is what we do in detail for environmental protection:

• For breakfast, we largely dispense with unnecessary individual packaging that causes a huge amount of waste
• We generate heat and electricity in an environmentally friendly way with our own combined heat and power plant Our heat pump air conditioning systems are economical and efficient
• We mainly use LEDs for our lighting
• We use water, energy and cleaning agents sparingly
• We buy high-quality items that we can use for a long time We look after our ‘old’ appliances and repair them when they stop working if possible
• We give hotel linen that we discard to people in need who will enjoy it for a long time to come
• Our craftsmen and suppliers are small or medium-sized companies from Cologne and the region
• The cable for a photovoltaic system on our roof has already been laid
